How to teach entrepreneurship?

From July 17th to July 23rd this year the Warsaw School of Economics will host the next edition of workshops for university professors from the whole Europe. The workshops known as the European Entrepreneurship Colloquium (EEC) were initiated by entrepreneur Bert Twaalfhoven, the founder of the European Forum for Entrepreneurship Research Foundation. Thanks to the workshops participating professors will have an opportunity to learn the newest techniques of teaching about entrepreneurship as practiced at American universities. Organisers and partner universities in the consortium:

On September 22-24 an international conference entitled Managing Innovation took place in Warsaw. It was organized by the Medical University of Warsaw in cooperation with the Nencki Institute, the CePT Consortium and the Ministry of Science  and  Higher  Education.  The aim  of  this conference was  to intensify cooperation in  the R+D sector in Eastern  and  Central  Europe  as  well  as  develop,  based  on  the  best  foreign practice,  a  strategy  and  an  organisational  model  for  a  technology  transfer platform established under the Centre for Preclinical Research and Technology (CePT).

Professor Krzysztof Obłój, the Faculty of Management at the University of Warsaw and the Kozminski University: I wrote a book about that entitled “Passion and Discipline of Strategy ” which was published a month ago by Poltex (in Polish). I presented this subject based on the research on Polish entrepreneurs, which I began in 1990. Passion and discipline are extremely important for an enterprise.

In fact, there is only one thing left. This is the return to classical, old-fashioned medicine to create, develop and train a team of experienced specialists. I mean your own medical school. This is not only about Professor Maciejewski school. An important issue is that the people who take the top chairs should not become professional narcissists.
